Refund policy
To be eligible for a refund, you must make a refund request through our customer service team (support@purecreek.com) within the applicable time period for your program as set forth below.
A refund is contingent to the policy explicitly laid out at the point of purchase from which you joined a program. The initial refund request email must meet the requirements of the applicable refund policy and include all the requested information or it will be ignored.
Your online access to all program materials is contingent on maintaining good standing in all of our programs for which you have registered. A failure to pay an installment for any program may result in the suspension or termination of your account and access to programs.
Refund policies for each product
Our refund policies for each product are as follows:
- The SwiftUI Compendium: 30-Day, better than 100% Money-Back Guarantee, no questions asked. Plus, retain lifetime access to the entire course.
- Git for iOS Development: 30-Day, better than 100% Money-Back Guarantee, no questions asked. Plus, retain lifetime access to the entire course.
- SwiftUI Structural Foundations: 60-Day, 100% Money-Back Guarantee. Proof of work required.
- Scalable Networking Architecture: 60-Day, better than 100% Money-Back Guarantee. Proof of work required. Plus, get one course from my competitors for up to $200 in value.
- The Ultimate iOS Professional Bundle: The bundle follows the refund policy spelled on the sales page from which it was purchased. Due to the discounted price, it’s only possible to receive a refund for the whole bundle, thus losing access to all courses. It’s not possible to receive a partial refund for the single programs contained in the bundle.
Refund policy details
- A no question asked guarantee grants you an immediate refund when you submit your request. Note that a no question asked guarantee never applies to a program bundle even when such bundle contains a course with a no question asked policy.
- If your program’s guarantee requires proof of work, you need to provide documentation of following the course and applying the material, as described below. Submitting a bad faith refund request, i.e. failing to provide the required documentation, will make you lose the right to a refund.
If you refund one of our programs, you won’t be allowed to join the same program again in the future. It is assumed that you decided that the program in question is not helpful. Other programs will not be affected and you will retain any access you have previously purchased.
What is not accepted as proof of work
As explicitly spelled out at the point of sale, you have to show us that “you have done a good faith attempt at following the material, applied what you learned in the course, and you are not getting results.”
To avoid misunderstanding, each point of a proof of work policy is discussed in detail below.
- A good faith attempt at following the material. Each product has been structured according to its didactical purposes, compounded by research and user feedback. Each module builds on the knowledge presented in the previous ones. As such, a good faith attempt requires studying the material in the order it is presented. Skipping ahead, skimming lessons at a high pace, or following lessons selectively will not be considered a good faith attempt at following the material.
- Applying what you learned in the course. The purpose of each course is to provide the theoretical knowledge of the software development principles, desing patterns, and best practices that should be applied to your projects. As such, merely copying the sample code provided in the course into a separate project does not constitute an application of the concepts learned in the course.
- Show that you are not getting results. After providing the information requested in the previous points, you have to explain in detail why you are not getting results. Complaining about typos, compilations issues, or vague statements about the material not being helpful do not constitute proof that you are not getting results, especially if you never reached out by email attempting to address such issues.
Terms of Sale
- Installment Payment Plans. If you select an installment payment plan, you hereby grant Pure Creek permission to automatically charge the applicable Premium Services fee to your designated payment method at the beginning of each applicable payment period until all payments have been completed. If you select an installment payment plan, you agree to keep your designated payment method information, including all billing information, current, complete and accurate.
- No Cancellations. Other than in connection with our Refund Policy, all sales are final and we do not offer any refunds or cancellations. If you select an installment payment plan, you will be obligated to complete all installment payments.
- Failure to Pay. A failure to pay an installment payment related to any of the Services may result in the immediate suspension or termination of all Services. Upon suspension or termination, you will no longer be able to access your account and any Services. To maintain access to your account and all corresponding Services, your account and payments must be current and in good standing for all programs and Services for which you have registered. Pursuant to our Refund Policy, if your account is suspended or terminated for a failure to pay, you will not receive any refund except at our sole discretion and any scheduled automatic renewals will not occur.
- Errors in Charges. In the event of an error that results in an incorrect charge, we reserve the right to correct such error and revise your order accordingly if necessary (including charging the correct price) or to cancel the order and refund any erroneous amount charged. In addition, we may, in lieu of a refund as provided in this paragraph, opt to provide you with a service credit, with a value equal to the amount charged to your payment method.
